not sure quite what you mean Dwarf, you lost me.

the 11m has the same power as last years 12m
13m has the same power as the 14m, and all the riders agree.

.

helldog, the waroos are cheaper this year in the sizes that match up with last years, 9m and below. And power to power are cheaper than the older waroos when sizes don't match.

we've done our best to keep the prices as low as possible, despite adding in a lot of new features.

Obviously things like the EZ pump on the Bularoo add to the cost and thats impossible to absorb completley after everything else that has been added already above the 06 waroo.

we keep the prices and the margins as low as we can, we survive on volume not margin and the only way to achieve that volume is by offering something that buyers respond to. and thats great gear at a great price.

SQ you bloke, he is talking about size not "feel". If we use feel then that let's marketing types like you soon telling us your 9M has the power of another brands 16m... Keep the sizes as shown or we'll go after you with precise measurements. I.E a 9m is a 9m not a 9.99m

Don't even think about it SQ....

The reason i don't understand, is that he's hinting we are doing something shady, but isn't actually saying what that is, and just letting the stigma of doubt remain.

Dwarf if you think we're somehow massaging the figures, re kite sizes, power comparisson and cost. why don't you prove it.

Or apologise.

i'm at a loss, are you saying the kites are smaller than we say they are and we pocket the money we save on teijen?

Are you saying the kites are smaller than we say they are to make the upper wind range look impressive?

Are you saying the kites are bigger than we say they are, to make the low end look better?

Or are you saying we make the kites bigger than we say they are and cheat ourselves out of money by charging for smaller kites?

Please tell me Dwarf, i'm just dying to hear

Yeah prices have gone up since my first quiver..... $1498 shipped:

phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=2301049

But value still seems quite good, quality is better than ever.

Last time I checked, the Best Waroo is still the least expensive kite out there even when you include the bar. Best has introduced other kites (Bullaroo and Waroo Pro) that are higher priced than the Waroo, but the Waroo is still the least expensive and one of the better performers. Yet, there are people claiming that the Best klites are now the same price as everyone else...... bovine stercolith... If that appears to be the case, it's because the other folks have lowered their prices, not because Best raised theirs (on the Waroo anyways).

Yeah, I know, kiterfighter, I'm a pimp and you're an idiot.... "Not neither!" said both at the same time..... and, of course, Mulholland blames it all on the neo-facist, socialist, devil worshipping Democ-RATS..... instead of the dim witted, lying, can't f*king tell-the-truth, concentrate all the wealth in the pockets of a few, pre-emptive striking Republi-CANS...

Jeez, what a varied group we have here.... ain't humanity colorful? At least we have the freedom to be colorful! Long live freedom from dictatorial rule!

While all the prices may be going up on other brands, Monkey Kites still have one of the best quality kites (construction & performance) for a great price. They have bow style kites starting at $499. Check them out:

The Monkey Kite Griffin looks less expensive than the Best Waroo. True? That's the only kite I've seen which is less expensive than the Waroo.

Hmmm.... Yo! Monkey KIte people. Send one of your 12m Griffins with bar to someone in Hawaii (Oahu) for 1-2 months so we can demo the darn thing! Someone here could be the "kite demo host." All the kite demo host has to do is to bring it to the beach and pump it up and let people demo it. Perhaps some incentive plan could be built in where you give the kite to the kite demo host at the end of the demo. If people like it, you would hopefully sell enough to make up the cost of the one you kickstarted it with. Otherwise, us folk in Hawaii will never see one, much less ride or buy one.

Could I go with you? I'll bring a flash light.

I've got a better one. Why don't you buy them directly from China for I do not know $450. Minimum order 100 kites.
