The key is in the rolling up.I can get 2 kites in the bag. When I roll I pull the le over and fold it into the rolling.

ALl the best

It took me quite a while indoors to put the moster in that little bag they give!!! but great kite so its worth it. Any better ideas on putting it away. I cant get it thin enough rolled up to get in the bag.

VENOMANIA!!!!

Thank you again Lack......
Sunday best session ever with Venom!
I used 32 meter line (25 + 7 meter extension) on my 58 cm bar.
Internal strap full tight for max power.
At Seal Beach, wind started light.. from I-windsurf:
14:45 13 mph to 16 mph.
Only 2 people out first myself on a Venom 16 and a good guy on Rhino 5 16 (comparing with the same guy last week using only 25 meter line he was going up-wind and I was not able to hold the ground).
This time I went up and away straight in the river, where I spent most of the time. Just enougt to go upwind and some small jump.

16:00 16 mph to 23 mph.
So much fun.... bigger jump kite so nice absorbing gust like nothing.
Others people on inflatable where able to come up to the river.

16:30 18 mph to 26 mph.
For about 45 minutes wind picked up more and I was fully powered up, never uncomfortable, very big jumps!!! so happy...
At this point I was thinking to come back to remove the extension line to have the kite more reactive as I was surfing small waves.

Any how what a big difference from just one week before thank's to the extra 7 meter lines!!!

My suggestion at this point is to go with you stock bar and keep around some extension line for lighter days.
The Venom is really a great kite.
Bye Jankie

Nearly 15 years later you are about 15 years late. A Venom is technically a foil kite, but nearly as different to what is considered normal foil kites as foil kites are to tube kites.

They were good kites for their time and can still be but don't judge foil kites in general from an old Venom that likely won't even fly well from age.

Over the last couple of days I have seen a 16m Venom out in 20+knts. Most other riders were on 10m kites. What I cant fiqure out is the depower on these beasts. I was of the school of thought that ram airs are more powerful than inflatable of the same size. I have a7m Hq Beanmer that pulls like a 12 inflatable. So what is the go with these kites?
It’s a “C” kite. A foil “C” kite which at 16m size would produce as much pull as 11m Rally. Very strong bar pressure, fairly slow and predictable kite, challenging relaunch from water.
Buggy riders love ARCs.

But it’s fun and I kept mine as relic. It fun to ride some ancient kite next to “I’m rich” boys with expensive, latest model gear who can barely jump. “Once a year” kite.

2005!!! Someone's digging up old bones! 16m Venom at your weight on that board will get you going at 14knts. but its not a grunty kite and will need to learn about apparent wind. And top out at around 25 knots depending on your skill level. Would love to have have a go on a Venom again, as the Chargers were very disappointing experience!

I got an old Venom , 10 , 16, and 19M ; still use them for land buggying
sometimes.
I don't even bother to land them , when i take a break ; i
hook them up to my bumper, and they just STAY there, at zenith !
No LEI will do that .

Had a 10,13, and would never have gotten to ride if I didn't have a 16m too. So great in so many ways but sooooooo slow and kinda gutless until their juiced. Pretty unique design. Ultimate tinker kite. 16 was my main kite, 13m was for damn near 20 knots and the 10m was for the 30's. Was sad to see that design stop evolving.

Would have never believed back then that we can foil with 9m kites in 10 knots.
