Nearly 15 years later you are about 15 years late. A Venom is technically a foil kite, but nearly as different to what is considered normal foil kites as foil kites are to tube kites.

They were good kites for their time and can still be but don't judge foil kites in general from an old Venom that likely won't even fly well from age.

And top out at around 25 knots depending on your skill level. Would love to have have a go on a Venom again, as the Chargers were very disappointing experience!
That made me laugh, 15 years between posts must be record on kiteforum, the OP hasn’t been back since :D

He'll be back in 15 years to find out which knot to use on the pigtails.

Surprisingly, there are still arcs around in amazing condition. The 2 I have look and feel brand new.

Love my Phantom 1's on landboard and snow - chews up gusts and auto zenith rocks. Have yet to have a good session on water - any time it's that good I reach for my Speeds.
