I am still waiting for an answer is from Best, if they are still believed in there Hellfish.
We bet that the Hellfish will not win the Lightwind challenge postet here:
The Bet: Hellfish vs. FS (Page 9) sorry, i can´t generate a direct link.
Flysurfer is still waiting for an answer.
More realistic "let's make it interesting" proposal:
$1 entry fee, winner gets the publicity and all money goes to…
Some Vids to watch until our “1$-Betâ€

Thought you guys came to a agreement on this?
Would be nice to see these two good kites stack up against each other. I think the reason you haven't had a answer from best is because they took a break maybe. Haven't seen them posting anything.

Can´t see the video, the connection is to slow. Is it from Germany, springtime and cold water? In this conditiones the water looks like this, the windsurfers are moving very slowly and on a kiteboard you are powered on a 12m kite. The best conditiones to make a lightwind-video.

lt looks to me that lightwind for Gumball and lightwind for Armin are two different things... so they cannot agree on bet. still it is pretty clear for me what the lightwind is.

I think there are alot of differences in preception not only between them, but probably between many of us.
While I respect both technologies and companies equally, and Im stoked for anyone having fun on the water, the definition of fun seems quite different between them. Up until this point I was interested in the "bet" but now I realize that these two differ in definition of fun. I consider fun to be riding in light wind on a 128-138cm wakestyle board powereed in average riding conditions. The video from best seemed to show me that. The video FS showed me was a guy riding a massive board on extremely flat water. I do not have water like that (I doubt most do) nor do I get stoked about riding a massive plank even if backrolls are physically possible. i also dont ride in alot of places I can stand up, nor do I crash many times with the LE facing UP!
I think what Armin has shown shows great technology and represents the abilities of it well. However for me, what I saw isnt my definition of lightwind fun.

I love this perception that flysurfer kites are expensive...
Let's see, the two kites in this bet:
FS 17m Speed, bar, lines and bag : $1890
Best 25m HF, bar, lines and bag : $2575

that makes two kites i cant afford.
but i do know that FS kits last alot more than one season.
