Well its no surprise, since the Wrinklefish made everything obsolete, including itself, they had no alternative but to dream up some other wild claim.

So now y'all better start sending them money quick, get on the waiting list...

Of course it has nothing to do with the fact no-ones paying them any attention, because of the Cabrinha/Takoon thing.

They really really have made the biggest breakthrough ever - honest - why wont you believe them?

I mean they are the biggest kite company in the world now.

They said so in their Press Release.

Guys

Good Best do it again.

All in advertising, nothing to show, nothing to test except prototypes witch never works.

Now they show us a drawing in the sky and after....

Who are this guys?? They test the kite of the other compagnies but I am sure they never see it flyes.

STOP to take customers for stupide guys.

I am sure there will hundreds of posts to follow...... to put it simply they are making a Rapture from cuben fibre. It sound great to me. I am somewhat dubious of a nonexistent product but the hype..... this stuff will be a great case study for any Marketing Course.

Just as Crossbow-Nova starts enjoying their 15 minute of fame Best bashes the party.

I have a better idea of vapor-ware: North or Slingshot should come up with.... let say a Liquidmetal, tubeless aircraft wing, the outer surface should be 10 micron thin solar panel to generate Hydrogen with which it would self-inflate the kite to 6 bazillion PSI. The whole kite would fit in your jeans pocket and would weigh with H2 a negative minus 456 grams. It will have only one line made from carbon nanotube to attach to your harness. Steering should be done by sheer brainpower so you can kite with your arms folded. The whole shebang will covered in 24 carat Gold and Platinum for 2007.

Good luck enjoying you new kite......

Better start a new nemesis group quick, before the war gets loose here. I won't mention anything about the kite (I'm sure that enough of opinions will come through :)) but I just have two questions.

1) How can they make the exact same design without buying it from the author of Nova/Crossbow without conflicting with patents?

2) How long is the Cuben Fiber lockup period?

"The development of Nemesis began where the development of Crossbow stopped ..." :D :D :D What a perfect marketing move. To bad that with Hellfish Best lost the only benefit they had - somewhat cheaper price.

Regards,
Erko

So if you bought a hellfish, in 5 months it will be obsolete...
Interresting design, especially after the best guys kept on bashing the crossbow and nova... :o

No really.

You must take them seriously.

A lot of development went into that Cad drawing.

Why even now teams of best designers are eagerly awaiting the 1st Crossbow to look at.

They are even hoping they might have a cure for the Cuban Fibre shrinkage problem by then.

Now come on chaps..

Send money to them now.

I am still not sure why our kiting community isn't just happy that a company is innovating. Screw the hype, just be glad that they are pushing the rest of the overpriced manufactures and progressing the sport. But, as always, BASH AWAY pinheads.
