GK Sonic

Postby ed257 » Sat Aug 13, 2005 12:44 am

Globerider,

When are you going to make the announcement and provide the details and demos of the GK Sonic.

Many of us hope it overcomes some of the deficiencies of the existing flat kites (eg Crossbow - price, bar pressure, complex pullies and bridles).

Wow, so the Cabrina isn't the only option. I was thinking that the Cabrina would be the kite for next year. Now I'll have to think about it. Windwing is also saying that the new rapture will have front semi bridle now that they are more acceptable in the market. Can't wait to see what everyone will do for 06.

Now we are talking.

I'll withhold overall judgement until I ride it
to be sure the bar is on the right track- simple is always better
and i can tell you for a fact
all GK's I've owned have been built to last

I call dibs on a demo at the jetty :D

This kite is not even build yet, and you are already discussing it.

Well... not everyone has the chance to leave near the GK team and to know what's really going on.
GK doesn't usually tell people when stuff are just in the stage of a project and haven't been made/tried (unlike others ...).
We've seen pictures, video and a press release. It's not to be naive or stupid to talk about it and believe that it's been "build".
Especially since GK claims that they'll be available end of September.
We'll see.
