My wife is looking for a new harness, she wants the dakine siren ... but when I look on the site of dakine you see the so called specially build for women dakin siren, only to find out it's the men's version with flours. But when you look at the publicity of dakine in KB magazine you se a whole other version for women ?

Which is correct ?

Just had an email from dakine (superfast response)

Thanks for your interest in DAKINE products.

Regarding the Siren harness post you made; the photo on the top, which includes the Tabu is the correct version of the Siren harness. It was re-designed to fit women much better. The other photo that you downloaded form our website is incorrect.

Both of the colorways in your post are correct. The charcoal/powder and the Pink Sakura are both current.

I hope this helps clear up any confusion. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Have a good day.

I have nothing but respect for Dakine too. I have an old Fusion harness
on which one of the snap-in leg buckles occasionally used to pop out.
I really like the comfort of the Fusion and didn't particularly want to
change it so I had simlpy tied the buckles up with kiteline and used it
as a step-in.

After reading something on the Web about this problem happening to
others I emailed Dakine about it and despite the age of the harness
(2-3 years old at the time) they had me ship it to them and factory
fitted new, very plush padded legstraps for me. No charge. It is now
even more comfortable!

Next, I'll have to ask them about a cumberbund extension as I've put
on weight since buying it and now the velro pops open if I don't suck it
in for the entire session ;) )
