in the last STANCE MAG, we can read an article about the Vegas 6 and the Fone TRIBAL.
they write and explain the fantastic evolution of these kite.
huge depower pretty close to be like the bow kite but with the handling of the classic shape kite.
the performance of these 2 kites are better than the classic one and the depower diference with the bow type is strongly decreased.

i would like to know if the Vegas 6 can match with the R6 performance

i've prefered the R5 rather than the V5, should be the same for the R6 V6?
dwight?
thx everybody.

ps: i know, my english writing is sick

be sure, the V6 matches the R6 performance! But turns faster. But it has less pull in kiteloops, which normal riders like me prefer...don't want to get smacked...

Tried the R6 14 and V6 14 next to each other:

difference as to my experience:
V6 more depower and turns faster.
Lift and hang was the same.

So I know what I prefer!

And what about Barpressure?
Which has lighter barpressure. R6 or V6?
I suppose most front connection on V6 gives less barpressure?
And how does barpressure compare to R4/5?
I did not like V5 12 because of barpressure and lack of depower=lots of residu power and stayed on my R4-12.

V6 (12/9 or 12/7) is now high on my wishlist!

I always had kites with bar pressure and liked it.
Can't comment, but for me it is fine.

Anyone else?

I'd be interested for someone to explain how the Vegas depowers like a bow kite. I understand the Fone since it has the "5th" line bridle.

Does the bigger size of the new 06 Vegas go upwind like the R6 or?

don't know about upwind.

But I think the V6 goes upwind better.

But I also assume, that the R6 has a better low end. But topend V6 for sure.

Toby,
do you know which sizes the Vegas 06 will be available?
I was thinking to buy a R06 20 m, but probably I will wait for Vegas 06.
When it is expected to be in the shops?

thanks

Toby!!

you are saying that V6 have more depover than R6....
...But please tell us - is that depover more close to Bows or just better than R6??

PS I am not pimping Bows - I didnt like any of them at all - but there was few things about what I was amaized - range, depover, relaunch.....
...but flying , doing trix - total crap
