I just recived my Turbo Diesel and it had one of the original Bar dug outs. Carbon not stainless. I asked them if mine would have any wear issues and they said pobably not but they would send me a new bar regardless. You can't fault that! Big shout out to Mr Shepard in the wrranty dept.

On some of the bars, the black resin around the dugout is sub-standard, resulting in rapid deterioration, then excessive wear on the rope.

They (SS) have no way of telling which bars are faulty, and are in the process of upgrading their current production to include a bar with a metal insert which lessens the risk of resin playing a part in the wear on the rope.

Should you have any problem with your current bar (Or I dare say you just go ask them)they will replace the bar.

This is currently happening in the States, here in Europe things are a little slower, but we anticipate being in a position to offer the replacement bars by the end of the Month.
