Leading edge construction is better on V6 in my opinion. Flexi is using construction that exploded on older North kites.

Blew-up the inner seams of the leading edge. It happened to my r04 12m .

my fusion has taken a real pasteing as a demo kite, many full on smash,s into the water fully powered no sign of loose threads or damage.
fly before you buy- dwight will always pimp north-in this case i am pimping flexi, have not flown the north but the fusion works great and the adjustable 5th gives it a very large wind range!!!

Dwight what a load of bollocks !

The Flexifoil leadiing edges are reinforced internally and in the last 2 and a half years Flexifoil is not aware of any leading edge blowouts,
Flexifoil has always had a great build quality and repair service second to non!

Dwight hows the stickers on your wingtips have they fell off yet ?

Regarding how the kites compare they are both at the top of there game, as far as iam aware the north doesnt have an agustable on the fly 5th line
and a one pump system, Flexifoil has put alot of energy in R&D with this kite and Aaron so its going to peform thats for sure

Edosan all i can say is try them both, and buy whatever takes your fancy, both kites come from great stabels and are both world class designs if price is an issue then i think you might find the Fusion retailing slightly less than the north.

Dwight im a pimp as much as you are but dont talk bollocks, the truth is far more interesting :thumb:

having said that i like your avatar :D

Arent these kites 2 different for coparison?
I thought the deal with Norths kite is crazy depower, which was more to do with the tip shapes, which are much different on Flexifoils kites..
Nice to see flexifoil has a trimable 5th line, bout time somebody copied that from slingshot.

Well whats the deal with the fussion?

Come on kite pimps give me the low down! is it like the vegas c kite with the depower of a bow?(or close to it). can it be 4 line only(hate fifth line)? whatis the bar, and trim system like? and windranges sizes, prices, avalibility (canada?), and anything else you can think of!

Smokey

links, and pics would be nice too!

The question is,alot of companys,F-one has Tribal kite,RRD has Type Wave,North Has the New vegas,Wipika Indy all claim huge depower as an alternative to bows. But,although im not a big fan of all bows,I know that on Crossbow,Nova ect,you can attach a leash right to the chicken loop and be safe ,meaning it will depower when you unhook and let go.No 5th line needed.
Will these new types of C kites do this?Or if im hooked in getting dragged, will they depower enough to stop dragging you?
I mean i think most people dont need 100 percent, and kite to fall out of sky,but getting hauled can suck.
I think most people can agree that simplest is best,so if they can make a c kite without bridles that depowers really well, then that would be better.

Thanks all for your replys.

I really do not see much difference between FF and N new kites, except for the bar and one pump of FF.

All the new things that the vegas 2006 advertise, are in the FF Fusion, so I was wondering if there was a real difference.

Here you can see specs for both kites
