Sweet Spots in Europe

Postby KingAstra » Tue Mar 28, 2006 7:52 am

We all know about those sweet spots in brasil or bahamas but how about spots in europe?Where is your favorite and what makes it so special? Is it just about warm water or what do you think about spots in germany or even scandinavia?

Southern Corsica from may to september.

Fantastic places to kite and the most beautiful island in the Med to boot.

Sardinia is just great, beatiful creeks with cristal blue water + great food and people. Nicer than many caribean places !

I'm curious about Corsica too... which should be as sweet !

Sardinia is better than Corsica if you ask me!
More spots, better beaches. Check kitebeaches.com!

Having spent a summer in Sardinia and then the last 3 in Corsica, I definatley have the preference for Corsica.

I am going to south Sardinia (just for the week unfortunatly) in June. Do either of you have experience of the south of the Island. The summer I spent their was on the North and I never managed to go further south than Pilau.

How's the wind in Corsica and Sardinia in July? How much % change do I have for >= 4bft ? Flat water?

Sardinia or Corsica for the best wind?

I want to go somewhere in July... but I want to be sure of good winds! Any other spot is welcome too! Tarifa is very crowded I think in that period? Fuerteventura ... 95% change =>4bft I think that's the best spot so far... And Egypt?

Thanks

EGYPT ... colona watersport (club), located at magawisch hotel , but if you prefer better food and good rooms go to HITLON RESORTS (there are a few hiltons so that the right one) or Sofitel (hotels are located to the right and left of the colona club).
Good rescue, cheaper than europe good flight connections (take jetair or sunjets of thomas cook or something) .. you won't regret and advance very very quick
Go for 2 weeks .. price almost the same as one week
