T A R I F A ! ! !
You kite more than any place in europe and the weather is with you. Plus, once the summer starts, the parties here are up to Ibiza level - Believe me I know what im talking about.

Corsica

Postby Daniel Blomqvist » Mon Apr 03, 2006 10:42 pm

Hi,

I spent two weeks in Corsica last summer, July.

SW is the dominant wind direction in the summer (check windfinder.com stats), so the place to kite is La Tonnara. Kind of a small beach, with no separate kite area. Not ideal to launch and land among people and children.

The wind usually came later in the afternoon. As mentionend, you have to be able to stay upwind to return to the beach.

To sum up, I wouldn't go there for a kite-only vacation. I went with my GF and we had a great time. We stayed close to Bonifacio. Awesome beaches, great restaurants (two 1-stars) - within driving distance.
