sounds like the best bet is to rinse the pulleys before every use?

(theres no way u can keep them clear of sand when setting up or packing down anyway on a sandy beach)

are you sure you want low abrasion resistance / high load lines on a piece of equipment that requires high abrasion resistance / low load in the first place? Maybe that's why the waro are wearing out in the bridle?

Hi, I have 4 pulleys on the Speed 17 atm and have been using kites with pulleys for 3 years.

Ronstan 20101 pulleys are a good replacement however, micro kite pulleys are lighter, only 5g. Dry spray lube will extend the life of your micro pulleys and prevent chaffing of the lines.

I use Team McLube SailKOTE High performance dry lubricant. The spray will dry in about a minute and leave a dry teflon like very slick surface. If you can't avoid sand, then apply the dry lub at home or away from sand about every 2-3 sessions.

Consider changing the bridle lines to Yale racing cordage. Will outlast your kite.

Reason it's not included in the stock kite is that the materials are more expensive.
