GRAVITY Guam...

Palau's windy season is somewhat similar to Guam’s, which normally starts around mid-October – November lasting until June – July… Logon on to windguru.cz, and you can monitor their wind speed… We've also have been planning a kite-Palau trip for over a year, but you know how it goes… So, if your there let us know how because we just might be right behind you… Check out our site: kiteboardingguam.com or gravityguam.com (under construction)…

Kiting in Palau! I am pretty sure my friend and I are the only two to ever kite in Palau. Think the winds are similar to Guam...only a little lighter. Lots of mangroves and not a lot of sand, but there is some spots. Watch for crocs! The beach near Melekeok (near the new capital) is probably the best...but anywhere you can find wind and a launch spot will work. Be respectful of the locals (especially fisherman)...you will probably be the only non-locals around and definitely the only kiters. Talk to Rene at Kramer's bar for more info and/or PM me if you want more info and pictures.

When are you going in October? Think I will be back there for work in October.

The diving is phenomenal...so go do that if you can as well.
