But to take it seriously, I think the Waterscooter is a good alternative for bicycling giving you quite a bit more fun when training your physical endurance. Obviously it can not compete with the thrills of kiting. I must agree that it does look stupid, but hey you will have a lot more attention than kiting under 100 handle-passing kite-freaks
The thing about bicycling is that you can stop at any time if you need to, while the waterscooter won't let you because it'll sink.

Dammit spork, I'm getting all these weird looks at the office since i read your post!

But yeah, you can count on me. I'm just about to have a talk with my boss and quit work. I'm gonna be an early adopter and make a hella lot money with this thing. I figure there's going to be big bucks around when they get the pro-comps going! 8) 8) 8) 8)

Hey Spork and Petter - maybe you can get Laird Hamilton to drop into Jaws on one - be some good exposure...imagine the humping speed as the jetski whips him onto the flank! I'm getting goosebumps - ah nuts, its a zit...

Long before kiting came along (well, depends on how old you are) I bought an original trampofoil as they were called by the inventor. They are a bit of fun but mostly great exercise; go 200 or 300 yards on one and you will be spent. They also get to be boring rather quickly and just about as much fun as jogging. All fine if you got nothing better to do. I taught Laird Hamilton to use one and now he owns two of them and is apparently thinking of using a PL auto zenith (Venom?) for power. Go figure...
they definitely don't fit in with the what's-hot -and -what's -not part of the radical "look-at-me-now, aren't I cool " crowd.

I presume you didn't see the picture of me wearing calf-gaskets in Kiteboarding magazine :thumb:
