Nope.
But there is still hope, because I tell you the trick:
1) Fly the kite lower and edge the board harder.
2) The more speed and the less radius in the turn the more spray.

Shallow is perfect for speed as there are no waves. So in this case: Instead of edging harder go downwind ! This makes you double as fast as normal. Then initiate a curve like described in my tutorial ...
