"We had good wind over the weekend and they did some T2(TurboDiesel2) demo and it seems to be a sick kite for what it's meant for!! Bow kites, it's good for bringing in people into the sport and it's pretty safe and stuff...BUT i definitely think that everyone who is riding a bow kite could do so much more with a C-shape kite...So only use a bow kite for learning the basics of the sports and in the waves but please help yourself and get a normal C kite for pumping that Freestyle into the sport!! "
That´s what I´ve being saying too!

chalk this up in the "who gives a crap what he says" category.
i was out yesterday in St. Pete at Ft. Desoto.. nuking 30 to 35+.. Pro Flexi rider Billy Parker was out there on a 12m Atom .. (i could barely hold down my 9m waroo).. he was hitting 40 to 50ft jumps with handlepass to kiteloop.. so insanely sick. jaw dropping display whenever he hits the water..
I'm sure he could have been out there with a garbage sack tied to strings and still make us all look like the absolute intermediate riders that we will all forever be.
its all in what you want to ride and what works for you..
statements like that go against the "freestyle" aspect of the sport in my opinion.
but its cool that he knows what he likes to ride.. to each their own..thats the beauty of the sport.

Let me know when they come out.... I'll give one a try!
Yeah that rider using a SLE/Bow design proves that the designs can work when in the right hands!
