Even as a fellow dutchman I agree.
There was quit a discussion on dutch forums and Ruben replied.
No matter what there will still be people who will do the same action after having seen this video.
Ruben knows lots disagree with him doing this stuff. Hopefully he takes it into consideration next time.

What do his sponsors have to say about this? I'm disgusted that the manufacturers would support it.

I do not see the fun anyway.
Is this guy a pro? with sponsors etc? If so the saddest thing would be if they keep supportng him financially.

Only a nice person would try and copy that...
Problem is,
I've met a few who would.
EDIT:
hey... Toby, why can't I say 'M o r o n'
'Nice Person' doesn't have the same ring to it....
What about Oxymoron?

looks like they closed the street which means that they have permission to do it. if the street is closed there is no danger to any persons. the only danger is to his gear and him. i dont see any electrical lines either. if it was a closed street it was pretty funny. but they should have a disclaimer saying this is a closed street like they do on jackass and then people know not to try it.
but if this isnt a closed street. then hes an idiot and his sponsers shouldnt allow that kind of behavior from there pro. dumb stuff is always funny when only your life is at risk but the second that theres a risk of hurting an innocent bystander then it changes from funny to just plain mean and inconsiderate. and should not be tolerated at all.what if the kite line cut a homeless person or a little kid or mom then i dont think anyone would be laughing.
