Each time I have a session that lasts over 2.5 hours, my eyes feel like they were marinated in limejuice and tabasco and rinsed with tequila.
I have tried those Sea Specs like sunglasses, but have destroyed or lost them all (they are good for cruising but still don`t withstand serious wipeouts).
What kind of eye protection besides Glasses is available and works?
I am afraid of long term damage due to the constant salt water spray and exposure to radiation, specially just before the sun sets.

the SeaSpecs work fine for me.
I also lost 2-3 over the last 3 years, but that is ok, since they are not that expensive.

Go to Emeraldcoastkiteboarding.com, in the accessories section they have SeaSpecs and a different brand. I don't even know the brand's name, but they are great!! They have foam padding around the inside of the frame, so they don't hurt during face plants. They are polarized and have a variety of lens colors. Another bonus, they float!! I love the pair with yellow lenses. If you don't see the yellow lenses advertised, just ask Wayne for that specific color when you order.

Add a neoprene strap to the glasses and put a helmet on top - I have used sunglasses for going on 4 years now and never had them come off.

Check ebay for kiteboarding sunglasses and you will find cheap seaspecs knockoffs. I have been quite pleased and don't cry so much when I lose them. Gas station glasses or safety glasses from home depot can also be good with a neoprene strap added.
Your other alternative is to go for the full spaceman from gath.

I totally agree that amber rules for sunglasses. Actually makes things clearer and sharper. Amazing.

Agreed, you can find the seaspecs knockoffs here and you won't care if you lose them because they are so cheap (3 for $29.99)!!!!
