I can't believe that:

#1 He tried to remove the hook with his bare hands in the first place (minor Dufus award);
#2 He kept trying even after the first near miss (Darwin Dufus Award!!).....

Here, let's try to get a bone fragment out of the running garbage disposal.....

Why d'ya think they call 'em TEETH!??!

Catch and release is a whole different ball game. There is a reason why they hit the shark when caught with a club to knock his ass out, lol. Anyone who catches another animal with any type of sharp item deserves what he/she has coming. From the look of it the guy who tried to remove the hook probably was genuinely concerned for the shark and wanted to get it back into the water. Lesson learned here, DON'T DO IT MANNN!!! :thumb: Polo...

Amazing! If you set out to torture some animal peacefully doing its own thing, you absolutely deserve whatever it does back to you, and more.

It's sad that kitesurfing was associated with this stupidity.

The beauty of our sport is that it's clean and doesn't hurt animals or their habitats. Stories abound from people kiting with dolphins, flying fish, sharks, etc., and the incredible experience of it.
