Naxos is my annual destination.
It offers flat / choppy water and nukin winds.
We commonly see 30 plus kt during lunch time hours.
this is flanked in the morning by 20 kt and also in the evening so you can get what you want there no problemo.

I will be in Athens for a conference in early June, but I have 3 days to get some kiting in. Should I go to Naxos or Paros? They both sound like great spots. Night life is not important. I don't want to rent a car. What size kite(s) should I bring?

Mike - You can kite in Athens too if you only have 3 days.
ferry to naxos/paros is 4 hrs each way.
Both islands are easily reached....take your pic.
Naxos is my personal favourite for many reasons.
Wind is 20 - 40 kt. See the Naxos thread for more info.
Been going out there every year for 5 years plus now....always brilliant.

Where are the spots in Athens? How is the wind there in early June? 20-40 knots on Naxos sounds worth the ferry ride.

I followed EDDYs advice and spent a month on Naxos last summer. Had 25-40 knots 25 of 26 days. Recommend late June-early July to avoid central european windsurf crowd.
Going again for 2wks this summer.
Lots of wind, no parties or loud clubs.
