BEST INSTRUCTORS IN THE WORLD: CHRISTIAN & KARINE

Postby AIR-TASTIC » Mon May 28, 2007 12:12 pm

Christian Harris & Karine Nativel, Poole, UK
Why?
Because:
1. The methodically plan how they are going to teach each move
2. They max out the number of students they will take at one time
3. They use simple memorable tips and terms to facilitate learning
4. They encourage and push you in an extremely motivational manner
5. They get in the water with you and see you close-up rather than shout and whistle from the beach
6. They whoop with joy when you nail the next step
7. They go through things after the event
8. They are always happy to talk or answer any questions
9. They film and actively use your coverage to show you how to improve further
10. They work as a team, to your advantage, discussing techniques, our weakspots and how to improve
11. They do it because they clearly enjoy it
12. They are Gods on the water, and are clearly technically fantastic
13. They are not filled with superior rockstar status
14. They are genuinely nice people and great fun to be with

Clearly you don't know them that well if you think this would be their style.

Which brings me to:

15. Neither Christian or Karine would blow their own trumpet, so someone else has to do it for them.

Hence this note

Christian got me riding, and I have since been on two of their joint clinics away. ALL of us, both their past disciples and their new recruits agreed on this

Hi,

i rarely post but i saw the names christian/karine - and i know how good instructors they are.
Both are extremely compentent teachers - easily the best in the world for me. They have a fantastic passion for teaching and making YOU the best you can be.

I rarely see them now - but everytime i do they have great stories to tell.

How many other instuctors have you used? I'm guessing by your post that you have had lessons from everyone. Glad to here that you have found a good instructo.

Must also say, that using the words "Best in the world" is/could be wrong to say...

Best in YOUR world would be more correct 8)

Anyway - we get the point, they are extremely good instructors, and the best you've met - NICE and thumbs up for that :thumb:
And good to hear you are so "hooked" now 8)

Kindly, Peter Frank

Nope, my words were carefully chosen to be accurate and not exaggerated. I chose BEST IN THE WORLD as I am unconvinced that kitesurfing really exists on the moon.
They ARE the best in the world
I have used someone in Mauritius, someone in Weymouth, someone in Hill Head, someone who was even British Champion.
In the words of Sinead O'Connor, "nothing compares 2 U"

If you don't have time to visit them in Poole, UK and would like to see just how good they are, you can check them out at http://www.iksurfmag.com they explain in great detail 3 moves in every issue (beginner, intermediate and advanced).

The 4th issue should be out by the end of the month, make sure you check out the latest moves, the back issues are all online full of reviews, interviews, tips and some great movies too....all for FREE!

http://www.iksurfmag.com

Enjoy!
