Hello everybody,
my girlfriend and I want to go for a trip where we can do climbing and kitesurfing in one place.
Can you tell us different spots anywhere and when it is the best time for the wind?
Perhaps specialy in South-East-Asia!

Try Peru, it blows all year and you have 6000m mountains to choose from. For climbing, try to avoid the months of december thru april (rainy season in the mountains).

Assuming you're not from there already have you ever heard of Squamish BC? It's about an hour from Vancouver. Wicked flatwater in the summer thermals blow about 20kts most days and check out the Chief for climbing in the background:

Don't forget your wetsuit!

Sardinia is also grate place to join those two sports... spots for climbing are max 1-2 hour away from kitespots... and Sardinia is paradise for bouldering due to numerous big granite rocks.

do you mean sport climbing? or trad? or mountain climbing?
Here in Chile we have a lot of climbing, and also nice beaches, only that beaches are not near the mountains. (4 hours drive)
for climbing info :
http://www.escalando.cl and
http://www.andeshandbook.cl
for kiting:
http://www.kiteboarding.cl
I also practice both sports, good luck, and tell us about you final decision

Hi, let me contribute with something closer to what you are looking for in terms of region. If you want good climbing Thailand (Crabi & Railey) are absolte great, but no kitesurfing in the vicinity.
The best compromise is Go to Koh Samui, get in contact with
http://www.kiteboardingasia.com or
http://www.dare2fly.com for kiting in a great lagoon or couple of other beautiful places and you can climb at (
http://www.samuitoday.com/samuirockclimbing) or in Koh Tao not so far beautiful small island where you can kite and climb at the same spot.
Period wise you have to wait for the Monsoo season, best is Nov-Feb, but check their website for more details.
Good luck!

Maybe check out Kalymnos. Awsome sport climbing and good wind potential. Could hire a boat and DWS/kite in Croatia or DWS/kite in Majorca.
At the end of the day though, they are a bit opposite as far as ideal conditions go. Climbing you want cooler temps and kiting you want it nukin hot (who wants to wear a gimp suit on holidays). It is also a crap load of kit to take on holiday to cover both sports (especially if you are climbing trad).
