Thanks for the thermal spots tips guys- invaluable! Less than 1 week to go now!

Just wondering re wetsuit: will a 2mm shorty be enough for both the Algarve and Peniche area or should I bring my 3/2mm Long leg/short arm?

Carekini, you are giving a wrong information! First: it is forbidden to kite in Lagoa de Ã’bidos, from 1/06 until 30/09/2007!! Second: if you know so well the other spots, like Baleal, and Supertubos, for sure i would should know that the worst season in Peniche, is from +- 15/07 until end of September!!
So, my advice is: go to Faro or Viana! Believe me, i live in Peniche!

Well I am arriving in Peniche on tuesday morning so fingers crossed!

plm- Can I ask what wetsuit you use? I heard that the water in Portugal is colder than England as you don't have the gulf stream- is that true!? :lol:

how's the kiting in portugal during november? much crowds? where would a good spot to stay at that time of year?

november is the worst month of the year in portugal go to brazil... come here from may till end of august

A 3/2 will be be enough! Sometimes i only wear a lycra. In Peniche, usually the water temperature is good, specially on the north shore, the beach that goes from Peniche to Baleal. Hope you have luck with the wind. :thumb:
