Just for laughs I looked through my archives for an old out of date sequence of dinosaurs riding unhooked on fixed line C kites. I don't like to bust out the new shit that is still pending publication but this was shot in mid 2005 and I can't remember if it got run or not. Anyway, just one of hundreds of nice unhooked, fixed, strapped, reactor, felix hits that clog the hardrives.

Anyway, on a serious note have a look at the way unhooking allows the rider to flow and rotate freely throughout the manuever. This was a pretty hard hit and needed some tail stompage at the end. Notice that each shot is pretty radical on its own but the speed and flow and drive go all the way through and he makes it.

This is the kind of shit I expect to see these new mystery riders of the super flat kite throw down on a regular basis BEFORE they start talking shit about performance and how their new efficient kite with zippers and pulleys and toggles has made everything else obsolete.

Just remember "Bows do everything better" Its a proven fact. I know because some guy won a contest once.
