Annular (ring) wings theoretically have excellent reduced drag characteristics and that is a beautiful design and build example. My guess is that the bridle drag, increased frontal area and irregular surface due to it being ram-air probably negate the theoretical gains. But, it is still a very remarkable job of kite-building. :thumb: :thumb:
