Postby jeff1 » Tue Oct 02, 2007 7:10 pm

I am wondering which would be better for kitesurfing i am going to buy one but not 100% sure which one.I dont surf just kitesurf.
I seen the pyro surf and was not that crazy on it,it felt a bit strange compared to the pro.

I own both.

For Kiting, the Pyro Pro is the answer. It has specifically been made for Kiting.

It is a looser fit, and has been reinforced in the areas more sucepatble to damage from kiting. The Kite seies is also slightly easier to put on and take off. Around this area, people mainly use the Pyro Kite series for kiting. This will be my 4th season using this suit.

Her is a link to another discussion on the Pyro Pro

The only time that I would consider the Pyro Surf for kiting is if I wanted a dual purpose suit for both sports or I was doing some heavy wave kiting.

Yep, that's it:
Pyro Surf if you plan to do any surfing.
Pyro Pro is better if you're just kiteboarding.

For sure in Normal conditions. We use them here no problem.

If the condtions are insane, well then you would have to be well prepared and it is unlikely you would be out in those condtions.

It would be interesting to heaar from other users onthis topic.

I wear drysuits regardless of surf size. When diving under the wave the air is burped out. No problems. A little damp afterwards, no big deal.
