"sky hook" pads for skim???

Postby biggins » Tue Oct 23, 2007 1:47 pm

Anyone know where to purchase the skyhook pads like on the North freestyle board?

Anyone use skyhooks on skims?

Looks like a great way to have the freedom of strapless, with the occasional ease of use for jumping...for us non-pros.

thanks,

j

I tried to buy some, the rep called north, they aren't available by themselves, you have to get the whole board. I would guess eventually they'll sell them separate.

does any one know of another option?

who makes removable pads or stick on Strap attachments? that could either be put on a surf board or a skim board...

Hey Biggz,

I remember a while back I was looking around for something for a skim & found these:

http://www.surfersvillage.com/article.asp?id_article=66

I don't know if they're still made, or even available anymore...

And North won't sell their pads separate?
Guess they want to keep the feature unique to the Freestyle Fish.

"Hey, check out the cool board my deck pads came with!"

Good luck with the search, or with the airs w/o the hooks! :o
