So I'm headed to Playa Del Carmen January 15th for a few days of riding.

What kites should I bring? My choices include: 14m contra, 11m and 9m waroo. I weigh 170LBS or 77kg and can pack two kites

I've read that it's really hard to launch at the beaches in Playa Del Carmen where should I go?

Take 14 and 9, but dere is not alow to kite.Go to Arecife ( if the wind isS,SW,SE) of the best place Famara (wind N,NW)

Launch about 2 miles north of the pier, just past the Grand Coco Bay resort. (Get a room at this resort if you can).

Hi guys

I'm also going there early january, so which areas are banned to kiting? I've heard that there are a few kiting schools were you can rent equipment. Thinking about leaving my board at home.. Any recommendations?

Someone that knows the wind stats for the area, or where to find it?
