Did test the Rew a few times.. Really nice kite.
For freestyle, it is one off the best SLE kites out there. That and the SB3 are my picks for that in the SLE category.

But their hole CL system just feels big and bulky. Here some off the guys on the Rew buy the kite, whit a Smartloop on it so they had a better unhooked and clean bar/CL for unhooked tricks.

But their flag out system is nice for intermediate riders.

Agree, and the ring, marked with 1 at the diagram above should also be changed to something spinable and less "narrow ring like" to make the depower trim easier to adjust when/if making the effort to "upgrade" with a SmartLoop.

How about a tight shot of the ring and plastic doo-hickey where the leash passes through? Do you guys have a stopper on the line to keep the bar from going all the way to the kite?

I will work on getting that pic.

In regards to having a stopper ball on the front lines, there is not one that comes stock but you can buy a yellow pac man ball or you can tie a figure eight knot any where on the line and that will stop the bar from crawling up the line. Super clean way and cost effective: If you tie a figure 8 knot make sure you do it on the other side to, so your lines are equal. Also you can tie good knots in 800lbs line without it snapping.

Since the Front lines are a bit thicker the friction of the line prevents the bar from riding up 98% of the time.

The 2% could be; when in a wave and the kite gets caught or if you standing and the water current is taking the kite away while your standing looking at it.

Hope this helps.
