Marking Kite/ Board

Anyone painted their kite/board with personal logos/graphics to make it more unique or recognizable if it's stolen?

Yep - I had my phone number and email with *REWARD IF FOUND* put on the blanks of my custom surfboards under the glass ....... so if I lose it hopefully I get a call. Marked my twintip with permanent marker next to the fins and on the edges of my kite .......
So far no losses - but JUST IN CASE

My boards are all marked. Haven't marked my kites yet because if my kite gets so far away from me that I'm waiting for a phone call to pick it up, I'm not so sure I want to risk being identified with whatever havoc it might have caused.

I always write my name and email address on my boards with paint marker.

I've painted kites before with Createx airbrush colors, worked great. I suspect any acrylic paint would work, though.

Stickers!

I know you've got them lying around; stick 'em to your boards to make them unique.

Three of my friends have the same green Underground FLX142, but we all have different stickers all over them.

As for lost and found; I recommend putting your mobile number on your board. Also consider writing it on the edge of you footpads if you don't want to write on the board itself(for resale). Those metallic markers work well if you have black pads.
