I'm sorry to hear the bad news about your leg Tony. Get well soon.
Miko and I will see you soon in Boracay. We should be there around Feb. 1 or 2. Take care and I will buy you a few San Miguel's to cheer you up!

I've gone over 80mph with my kite. In fact, I gone that fast with 3 kites at the same time. I don't think I can go any faster though. My Izusu has over 200,000 miles on it and it might throw a rod.

Get well Tony!
I hope the organisers will make the speed challenge a little more formal in 2009 by using GPS devices ran in a given length like going through a 200meter speed trap or something ....rather than a RADAR gun that only measures peak speed.
BTW i clocked a 55.4kph winning the windsurfer's class.
Cheers!
PS. will try to compete on both kite and windsurf in next year's speed event!

Sorry guys for some details that were not checked at the speed course...your faster (?) lady here was very very injured during the competition... I checked the angle on the last day by taking a motorbike to the finish line (tide was low and bulabog beach was waterless like a golf field)
and found it too close to the reef that is why it was choppy. We moved the finish line bamboo flatform by 70M to the beach and 100M towards Surfstation....super improved but wind did not cooperate anymore:-(
next year we will make sure we will not use anymore our speed gun but something new (please recommend!!!!!) to make sure it will give us accurate result. ok dat!
See you in Y21 of Boracay Cup!!!!
