Hi,
I`m planning to replace my `07 14 with the new one and I intend to order it with the "classic" Shift.
Meanwile checking in the Naish site I`ve noticed a stopper on the 5th line but the pic shows the same one as for the smart loop. Now I`m just qurious what of a stopper you guys /those riding with standard loop/ have got?
Regards,
L.
P.S. maybe OT: is there any change this year in the bar size the 14 comes with?

iv got the 10m T4 with double depower system which has stopper ball on depower line, so you can push through and depower the kite, maybe you were looking at double depower system not shift system? if your talking about stopper on the end of the 5th line, by the CL then thats just to stop 5th line pulling through. sorry, not sure which part you mean?
cheers, smoore

Thanx Smoore,
I have 07 Torches with DDepower and I`m familiar with it although I removed the DD from my bars.
If you check "standard loop" in the Naish site you will see a stopper on the 5th.That will be very good feature; shortening the bar travel when released.
Regards,
L.

Your talking about the sliding stopper yeah? I dont't think thats meant to be there; the sliding stopper is what stops the bar from sliding all the way up the depower rope on the SLE bar (cuz it's pretty bloody long!). It doesnt actaully affect the 5th line. That is if we're talking about the same thing

Yes,
This is the part I was talking about in my first post. The stopper itself shouldn`t be there /on the standard/ by the way it looks it`s the one for the smart loop. I was wondering if they decided to put a stopper on the 5th and used the wrong pic...

Ludmil,
As far as i have seen so far, the standard 08 Shift is just the same as it's always been, but with a new bar. (You don't fix what isn't broken!)
But if you take the SMART loop option, there is a sliding stopper.
Pure freestylists though, would probably prefer the standard system.
I think that's an error on the website.
