High wind choppy gusty location- standard freeride kiting - but good for waves as well. Can anyone compare them?

I haven't ridden either but have been considering the HP 7M to replace my 8m SB-II. So this is just what I heard from several friends that are hardcore best riders that love their HPs in the 14, 12, and 10 they said that the 7M was too fast. I guess that's a more of a personal preference but I tend to agree that in high wind control and stability are king.

I have the 7 and the 9 and they are my favorite kites. I have ridden alot of different kites in these sizes and prefer these to all.

Rich,
It's John from Troon and I'm normally on Vapors , but I bought a 7m Airush Flow on the advice of Mike Birt the importer (said the 7m Vapor is mental) and it is bloody fantastic in our crappy winds.
It is direct with good positive feedback with very little bar pressure, fast but not overly so and just munches the gusts. However, the standout thing about it is the range I have been on the 7m with my Shinn 133x42 when little Tommy is on his 9m Trix and I could still park and ride and I have also had it out in 40knts at Luce bay no dramas.
Fraser tried it today and could not believe the jumps and float from such a small kite and commented that it was very precise an similar handling to the Vapor.
I should be out on it tomorrow morning at Barassie so if you are down give me a shout and you can try for yourself. Was an awesome day at Troon today with some cracking wind blown waves but the high tide took the beach out at 1pm !

I tried the 7m 555 today and the flow has much more grunt, but the 555 is faster and more athletic with a more c feel - I posted a big review up on the nobile thread.
Like John says the flow 7 is a very good kite and not well known in the industry, for reasons I won't go into... but when right, like johns, it's range, stability and confidence and jumping ability in crap conditions is quite something.
7m flow sle is very similar in the 2007 and 2008, addition of one pump and some very minor shape changes, but you would be forgiven for not noticing.
I haven't tried the nemesis, we have mostly waroos in the UK.

I too have ridden a DNA and didnt like it very much. Many people where I live like them when it is gusty nasty 30 to 40 but really just comes down to if you have a chance try them both and form your own opinions back to back would be ideal. I really like my HPs but really I dont think 2 people ever say the same thing about a kite. The only way to know is if you can try them both. Just my 2 cents.
