I am building a bar and need a QR chicken loop. The Airush one with a high quality trigger
looks to be good. Plus it can be reloaded out on the water after activating, at least it looks like it.
Any other ones to consider?
I will be mounting a clam cleat on it as well to run the trim through. I can usually screw the clam cleat
onto anything.

Seconded; Naish Smart Loop.
- built in metal clam cleat trim below the bar
- easy to use a 5th line with it (ala. Shift Smart Loop)
- easily replaceable depower line
Other than that, the Slingshot '06+ Fuel chickenloop has the clam cleat for both 5th line & trim line on it for below the bar trim & fifth attachment.

Check out the new Windwing QR chicken loop.
I have one and it works great even under load easy to release. You can put it back together on the water. Clam cleat below the bar is already there. To use with a 5th line you can make a quick modification, see:

I´m going to order the 08 CL from Ozone for € 25.- ( including the CL line ) and found out to be a more than a decent price for the upgrade .

I strongly suggest one that has a central release that can easily be reached by either hand. This means Naish, North or Cabrinha but there may be some I have not seen yet. I like the Cabrinha because it has the plastic tube over the depower line which protects it from wear. Check the forums on standardizing these parts.
