Hmm, i'm sorry i don't believe you're out in 50mph winds
Looks like about 30-35knots at the most to me!!!!

Quoting the peak wind gust is a bad idea. Some kook might get killed thinking his kite is good for 45 knots steady.

how about using your edge before sending the kite the next time?

think in 45knots with rebel u should be jumping at least twice as high

pretty lame.i just got back from a session on my 14.5 ion two in 16-18knots and was boosting twice this high
. at 45 knots it would be hard for me to jump this low.

Really? That would be 12-14m high. You can proof it by placing a video here.

very true..... this sports is a dangerous sport if riders are being mislead.... i believe most kite company gives warning on being overpowered.....
