I'll be spending a week or so near Eatontown... So I was wondering if there are any good spots to ride within 2h of driving from there? Without a surfboard...
Hatteras is too bloody far...
I will only have a day at most for kiting...

..some additional info on NJ area spots:
NJ Area Interactive Spots/Map
--there's also a boat accessible option/demo/service offered by GreenHat Kiteboarding that's worth considering ..as the spot is comparable to a "mini-Hatteras" and can also demo some gear with price creditable towards gear purchase (demo includes complementary transportation):
greenhatkiteboarding.com NJ Island Demo Service
