Nick, hopefully we'll find out next weekend.

About the Sol - I've heard that i should be a little lighter but I don't know anything about characteristics. Yet.

Hi friends.
I have bought naish global wave 5'4" 2009.
The rails are not "wood look" like brochure or naish site.
Why???

Maybe the pic in the broschure is of a prototype. I think they both looks sweeet. My 5'0" looks the same.

As far as I understand, it is to extend the light wind abilities of the bigger kites. However, after riding my 9m Helix II on the heavy setting with 4 m extensions, I must say that it wouldn't hurt to add the extensions to some smaller kites as well as it makes unhooked action more enjoyable. But for waves and boosting, 20 meter lines are just great. I now have one bar with extensions and one without. Buy extensions in a store if you don't own a 10m+ kite. Peace!

I have the 14, tried the extension, after a while.
It is much better without them, I think. The low end is about the same and the kite is more reactive.

hmm, I think I get a little more out of the kite with the extensions...and if you want to jump higher extensions are really nice..even in high winds..however I also usually ride with the 20m :-)

I think your are right for a smaller surface, that moves faster in the window.
