maybe a variant of the truck launch? fix c-loop to something on your dock. swim out with kite with lines pre-untangled. leave the kite resting on the water flying. swim back and launch.

the way i find it the easiest when i dont have a beach is by boat my friend and i do that a lot on his boat, or when on island that is really crouded we use his or my boat.

Did yesterday twice and once the day before, Tie a tie down line to the front of your kite sswhere theres an attachment, then tie off to the down wind side of the pier, so kite floats away from the pier, then rig your lines. go to your kite with bar in hand. Un hook kite from pier. then swim out a ways, and then let go of your kite and let it drift till your lines go tight then, self launch as if you crashed.

Yup, it can be gusty, which can make it interesting, however at this spot there is a long fetch so the wind is steadier then other lakes that I have sailed. :thumb:
