can i get a few reviews on the 12m 08 hi-fi. very interested in this kite. What is the real fun windrange? I'm looking for a wake/freestyle/looping powerhouse. Even though its a hybrid does it have that good power in the turns of a true c-kite.

yeah the hi-fi is a powerhouse it really needs to be ridden uber powered though i have the 12 and 9 meter sizes probally most fun from 15knts to 20knts for good powerful fun i could lie and say the windranges are bigger but this is the deal for most 12m kites, i also think it has the power of a smaller kite but to be honest its better to ride a big kite depowered or one that flies with less power in more wind for wakestyle control. it took me a while to figure but the kite nees to be set right on the connectors making the back lines ones just tight when fully sheeted and the 5th line a little slack for extra looping power (shorten in really stong wind).....overall an insane kite and really friendly a nice ride if you want that and safe only thing is the 5th line can get caught in the wingtip on relaunch (nothing serious) just give it a yank and its fine but i prefer to unhook and relauch as if its a 4 line c shape anyway it relaunces super easy this way i have never had any problems............................fun fun fun!!!!!!!!

Hey could you tell me your settings?
I've been fiddling around a bit and I think I've found a pretty good trim on the kite but I'm not sure... I need to get as much low end power out of it.
Anyway, I connect the backlines on the knots closest to the kite and the fifth on the middle knot. On the bar I've connected all lines equal.
Yeah, and I like it too. Good control and range unhooked.

Its a good kite but just like every other kite you have to get used to it once you have it dialed in it will be the best

Wait til september and then decide if you like the 09 Hi Fi and the Hi Fi Comp, or the 08 Hi Fi... If you prefer the 08, and the 09 fly like dogs, which i very much dout, then buy the 08's extremely cheap!
You only gota wait 2 months...
