Ah Toby, would you not just leave it to be!
No point of advertising Cumbuco lagoon and Duro beach, it's busy as it is!
It's a horrible, packed and gusty place ...
And that's exactly why I keep on coming back!

Yeah who wants no crowds, steady 30 knots and perfect waves? that would suck!
But I"m not arguing! I would go back in a minute, it is a super fun place. Just didn't quite find the riding as good as I hoped. There are pluses and minuses to everything, I find Hatteras a bit boring off the water, pricey and lacks the scenery of Brazil. I would still choose Brazil every time though if time and money allowed.
I must have hit a nerve with Toby, hope I haven't damaged any secret "interests"!

there is a secret interest...which I didn't even mention! And I will not...you will hear about it for sure, and it is not Cumbuco or any other place we talked about!
Steady 30 knots? Steady 20 are steadier!
But good to hear you found your place...this is good about this coast, it has something for almost everyone to be happy...and that's the only thing that counts!
See you next year! (in Cumbuco
)

Hi,
I've just booked my flight to Fortaleza for this year and am looking to hire a buggy for 2 weeks to travel up the coast! Reading this it sounds like there is a few dodgy companies out there.
Does anyone have experience of
http://www.cumbuco-car-rental.com/ and BRL120 a day sound right? Or can you get better deals and better companies on the ground in cumbuco?
Any help would be appricated.
Cheers
