I'm thinking about moving to Vancouver next April for around a year. I was just wonder what the kitesurfing is like in the area. How close is the nearest spot average wind strengths?
Any info would be appreciated.

If you end up moving, don't forget to come down to Bellingham and ride in the bay! We ride year-round and have miles of shallow water.

kiting is great in general, especially in the sumer. Unfortunately kiting usually involves a drive around here. From vancouver, squamish (the IT spot during the summer) is 1hr to 1 1/2hr away.
