I wouldn't plan a kite trip to the northwest Caribbean during that time of year. Wind is hit and miss until "christmas winds." Further south is a safer bet. Bonaire should be windy in Nov, later in Nov the better. Dec and Jan are surer bets!

northwest of the Caribbean during this time of year not windy??? you can't be serious, this time of year the wind stops only for a day or two a week there, check windguru.com.

Do you live in Veradero? http://www.windfinder.com/windstats/win ... radero.htm
Looks more like my experience. I live and kite all over the Caribbean. We all look to the end of november as the beginning of our windy season, and the further south - the earlier it starts. Even Bonaire and Aruba are hit or miss for wind in Sept and Oct! If I were planning to travel all the way from Europe I wouldnt want to bet on an early start to the season!

Last year I wanted to go to DR late in the year - their winds didn't really turn on til Jan.
