I had a chance to use '09 FUEL11m yesterday in 6m/s average wind with '08MISFIT146.

I could keep abeam but couldn't go up wind.I think this is the minimum wind of FUEL11 for 96kg person.

Later on wind droped a little bit, then I changed to '07FUEL17m.I could go up wind and could jump high.

To cover up '07FUEL17m range .I need '09 FUEL15m very badly.

so at 70kg anything larger than a 13m is not worth it for me but I can still have fun in 12kts

basically am I going to have to swim towards the kite in light winds? This is my pet hate, and why I have always used 5th line.

I guess its not a problem for ruben who probably thinks 25kts is a light breeze...or those who kite in the gorge

I could make water relaunch at 8konots(4m/s) easily without swim.
You have to pull back leader line instead of pull bar. :thumb:

Why no 15?
My guesses:
?Technical guess -the 09 flies faster to the window edge, so makes more power sining, doesn't sit back as far. If you can make more power that way, maybe less need for 15.

?Fashion guess -pushing the image toward competition and big loops, 15 doesn't loop as well.

?Another guess -reverse relaunch might not work as well with the 15m size -more surface in the water....

no reall need for 15, i have a 13 Hadlowpro and its got shit loads of power, way more than any other 13 i've tried so i'd imagine the 13 fuel is the same...

my 20.5 machine can relaunch off the water like that! love big tits, i mean tips!

Well I have T3-17m,'07 Fuel 17m,'08 Fuel15m,'09 FUEL13,11,9m.
Maybe don't need '08 FUEL15m because '09 FUEl13m is perwerfull but I missed '07 FUEL17m range of wind to be able to practice dungle pass.
Air pass is dream for older guys.

Fuel is much easier to practice it.
