Why :?:
Why whould you want to use less? "4 lines statement from the other Vid. thread"
Cause in this case less is more and riders are happy or gay by the dictionary, Haha............ :baby:

They don't show you on those 5th line Vids. when the kite with a 5th tumbles
the lines will be so twisted you can't even relaunch it or fly it back to the shore.
Believe me couple of times I tried to help out to my friends while riding but couldn't.

2 of my friends just changed from North to other Brands with 4 lines.
One of the recent one had twice his 08 14m North, tumbled and completely cutting the L.E.
and exploding the bladder custing $155.00 for a complete repair job.
Now he is asking only for $400.00 but nobody wants it.
The other guy had a life threatening experience with his 14m also,
in spite of the fact he's been riding North since they came out with it with that model.
He launched his kite in gusty on shore condition and almost killed,
dragged into fances at a narrow beach happening so fast.
Somehow he didn't have any chance to activate the safety 5th line and release.

It's not really important what type of kites were, or what they changed to
but these things are happening for real what you don't hear about.
I don't think we should buy into the hype & promote an illusion
that Brands with extra 5th lines are safer than anything else.

just my $.02 :bye:

P.S. Flown everything from Dust Pan to Helicopter :readpb:
