Kitty Hawk did the right thing. They have renewed my faith in them and humanity.
Thanks Chris

1. This is my one and only account and you are the lucky one who get my first post
2. I am not affiliated with KittyHawk Kites, so you still must wait probably for a kiss
I am eBay member since 1999 and over the years I learn to read the descriptions very exactly.
If their any contradiction in the description I "Ask seller a question" and that I would like to recommend.
Your purchase is surely annoying but imho not only the sellers fault. So be calm about my person
and try to solve the problem with the seller.

This sucks big time....... There is a big differance between the 2007 and 2008 Thrusters in fly-character. Perhaps you can make a deal with them for a 2008 Thruster 14m2. The 14m2 will have almost the same low end but will be quicker.... Good luck

What the hell did you get?
A proto type Thruster?
Or a 07 Thruster?
Yikes,...if 07.
You know, there are laws which should protect you as a buyer.
Check with E bay
The kite in pic is a 08. a 07 looks like

Hey,
How much money did you save on e-bay? Why not call the shop direct and deal with a person with a name? If you get the wrong gear how much have you saved?

Don't work for Kitty Hawk Kites but I know a lot of the guys/gals that do. They are usually a pretty fair group to deal with. I live here on the obx where their shops are and have always heard only good things about them. Instead of forum bashing why don't you give them a call directly. If they are the ones that actually sold you the kite on ebay I am sure they can fix it. Try and get in touch with one of the managers of the kiteboarding department. Good luck and sorry to hear about the bum deal. Unfortunately one of the many risks of buying on Ebay.
