Kandathoduwa in Sri Lanka (about 90 km North of the Airport Colombo) has a great beach break, and close to 100% Wind from May until September

@kaioe
It's always between 14knt and 23knt.
I'm using a Tomo Vanguard 5.2, and am 76kg when wet. I'm mostly flying my 8m2 Blade Trigger, and sometimes the 10m2.
Hope this helps

You can check the wind statistics of Kalpitiya; we have the same wind.
https://www.windguru.cz/archive-stats.p ... pot=115722
However, in Kalpitiya, the wind comes overland, which makes it more gusty. And the termical effects of the sand dunes don't help (it slows down the trade wind)
Also there is no wave in Kalpitiya (it's in the wave shadow of Kandakuliya).
Kandathoduwa has side-on wind, and 35km empty beach where you will be the only kitesurfer (apart from me
)

Pretty sure this topic has "waves" in the title. stop trying to flog your flat-water business on this topic. People like you reduce the credibility of forums like these where people want unbiased opinions

@BrianMaiden:
Check your facts and read carefully before you start a pissing match.
I'm NOT promoting Kalpitiya, ok? If you do your homework, you will find that I said in many instances that Kalpitiya has no waves. I'm talking about KANDATHODUWA.
Kandathoduwa is 40 km South of Kalpitiya, and gets SW Monsoon Swell with a Side-on Wind. Swell goes up to 8ft in Summer, the beach is 35km long and virtually empty, which makes for an excellent beach break wave kite spot.
