In windmotions we have to be reborn as a phoenix kite much stronger .....and ready to rip and go to search and catch the perfect wave.....the kite is now a REAL WAVE HUNTER
"ready to RIP"

Love the fact that it still holds air. Struts and leading edge still work. Amazing. Looks like a kite from "The Nightmare Before Christmas".

lol, yes for sure.

Haynman..just to reinforce. No one would leave their kite out there. If we'd seen a random kite out there we..other kiters would have cleaned it up if at all possible. Backside of flat during winterstorms...yeah it is definitely a no go. Absolutely impossible to access any which way you turn it.

Here is my beloved 15m Speed3 DLX after landed on a tree in a dark.
All bridals and lines are cut off with a diving knife in a hurry to save the canopy
in a mosquitos infested mangrove area.
The Full Speed 3 Bridal set is "heavily damaged" $429.95 + $400 to install them
so I'm still thinking if there is any way around that high cost :?:
Maybe PMU had a valid point than :hangloose:

Trained PARACHUTE repairers are often needed, costing well over $1000.
Bills over $1000 are common, eg viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2348790

MIght be time to learn how to make/size your own bridle lines :o . The bridle line lengths are on the FS website. how-to videos are online.

For next time which hopefully does not come it would cheaper and less work to cut LCLs (if necessary and possible ofcourse).
