Postby kite-it-right » Mon Mar 23, 2009 9:36 pm

hello can anyone tell me how to fix a hole in an orange aittime LE bladder..?

will a standard Kite patch kit work?

can you melt it closed with an iron like on the standard bladders or does the different material not work as well?
thanks i just need to fix it asap, really not getting on well with these things

When I replaced my leading edge bladder, I asked the same question. The reply I got Straight from Air Time was: Just use clear packing tape. The clear stuff you would use to seal and ship a cardboard box. I keep a roll of it in my repair box. It totally works and does not come off.
Make sure you do not have any creases under the tape or you will get a slow leak.
Good Luck
