Kitesurfing in July in cheap Spanish-speaking country?

Postby glasso » Tue May 26, 2009 7:43 pm

I want to kitesurf and learn Spanish in July - where should I go? (besides Spain...)
Looking for good winds, warm, cheap, maybe some nightlife too.

www.kiteecuador.com good wind, warm in manta, wave days and good downwinders. We take care of everything, riders get gear if needed and transport , plus night time stuff. We also do a 2 for when when you bring a friend.

Peru or Ecuador..

Quiet???

You should give it a try, I had a blast in Mancora and Ecuador...

Don't think Cabarete isn't quiet either, it's gotten older and more retiree orientated.

I learned there 5 years ago in July - great wind, lots of diversity in housing and food. Great place.

i live in the gulf coast of mexico, costa esmeralda...july and august is our low wind season. Season from Oct-June...
BUT there is such a massive coastline in mexico, i am sure you will find excellent wind in one of the following places for that time of year... yucatan, baja california, pacific, caribbean...Get in contact with the locals of those areas for more help. Flights, accom, food etc are affordable in mexico all year round. Good luck :)

The Gorge has serious wind in July and a good number of hispanic workers.
You could give one of their teenagers a summer job as your personal tutor,
and get some of mama's home cooking if your lucky.

Don't laugh, the US is now a Spanish speaking country,
and I've learned all my Spanish right here in the USA.
